ct scan results

My husband had a ct scan of chest, abdomen and pelvis carried out in a Glasgow hospital 6 weeks ago.  I spoke to Consultants secretary nearly 3 weeks ago and was advised she had result but was awaiting previously carried out biopsy result.  My husband received letter from doctor about 2 weeks ago advising that biopsy was clear.  He has still nit received result of ct scan from either gp or Consultant at hospital.  Is this normal? If not, what can he do?

    Hello bellacat and welcome to Cancer Chat! 

    I think for peace of mind, it might be a good idea just to give the hospital or your GP a call and to ask them whether they have received the results of that CT scan. They will be best placed to tell you whether results have come through or when you should expect them.

    So don't hesitate to pick up the phone and give them a ring!
