Need personal experiences with cervical cancer

Hi,

 

so bascially, I’m probably being over dramatic lol, but I was having sex with my girlfriend (I’m so sorry, this is TMI) just her fingers and it was very painful, which it usually hasn’t been before, I had experienced once a pain similar when we had been using a large toy, but just assumed because I was young and am a virgin (as in penatrated by a man). But this time the pain was incredible and when she pressed on whatever it was it was making my back pain start, I’ve had back pain since September 2019 and it hasn’t been as bad since Christmas time. 

 

I asked her to just poke around and bit and try to feel for something and she told me that it feels tighter than usual, and it felt hard and she said veiny? 

 

I had previous been worried about about cervical cancer and am currently in and out of the doctors trying to get them to give me tests so I know I’m 100% clear. I’m 19, so they are very reluctant. I bled for 52 days and that stopped three months ago and I haven’t bled since. I have back pain and pelvic pain constantly. 

 

I just wondered if this has been anyone’s similar experience, and if they had cervical cancer or anything else? 

 

I’m severely worried.

  • Hi Dbrose,

    I see from your post that you are worried about some symptoms you have.  The best thing to do is to go and see your doctor.  When you are worried that you may have cancer, it can be tempting to look for answers on an online forum, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better.  And the only person that can diagnose you is your doctor.

    Hi, thank you for your response. 

    I know I shouldn’t be looking on these kinds of things but I’ve been back and forth to the doctors and I’m trying to push for a smear. Im 19 and they’re very resistant. I wanted to hear if anyone else had experienced this so I could push harder. I’m very stressed about it and they seem to be taking ages to sort it out. So I’m just trying to grab as much information as I can.

    hi Dbrose 

    if you know in yourself that something isn't right, push to get a smear test and internal exam. 
     

    Personally I had 2 smear tests that came back normal, but I could feel something was wrong with me and I was right. 

    This won't be the case for everyone and reading stuff on the internet can drive you mad (I know from experience) But don't let anyone say your crazy or being melodramatic be firm and get that test, and if that still comes back ok and you still don't think you are ask for a gynaecologist referral. 
     

    If it all comes back clear then at least you havepeace of mind.

    How are you now? Did you find out why it hurt with fingers? I'm finding the same thing, it burns like heck. Also doctor found red inflammation on my cervix but I'm worried.
