Breast clinic

Hi guys

I've never posted on a forum before but seen how  supportive this one is so here it goes.

I went to the doctor today as i have a small patch of yellow on my breast which was odd to me as it was never a blue bruise...I had been out at the weekend and had been intimate at the weekend too, so maybe I just didnt notice an injury.

I expected the doctor to tell me I was silly but he said there was a bit of unevenness in 1 breast and that he would refer me (as per new guidelines) I am booked in for Thursday morning.

I am absolutely freaking out as I wasnt expecting anything to come of this! Any kind words/advice on what to expect? I havent told anyone yet!

Ps I am 31 no history of breast cancer in the family

  • Hi lovely

i knows exactly how your feeling I went to docs this afternoon with a dimply left breast and bang off to the breast clinic I wasn't expecting it as I've been before and she said stretch marks now she can see what was talking about before so off I will have to go try not to worry lots of things look like scary stuff and there not ime a worrier too but better safe than sorry get it looked at and fingers crossed it'll be nothing easier said than done but your not alone and someone will always be here to support you good luck xxxc

  • Thanks for that!

Ive been scouring the forum this evening,  probably not particularly healthy! When is your appt?

Hope everything goes well.  We are absolutely doing the right thing getting checked out. But just intimidating as it was unexpected! Xxx

  • Hi,

It is always best to get it looked at as if there is anything suspicious the earlier the better for treatment. Fingers crossed for you that it will be fine.

  • Well no idea as yet have to wait for the call if letter been googling arghhhh

all I can say is we can't change it we just gave to deal with it in a rational manner but it's so bloody hard everything looks scary and I've looked at my boobs a thousand times in the last 24 hours I can see a bit on the other side myself but the dr couldn't but it looks different in different lights so panic over that

we are going to be fine whatever happens the nhs are bloody fantastic and will make sure if it

try not to google keep yourself busy and all the luck in the world to you let me know how you get on xxxxx
