I am seriously freaking out!! 
 

had a vulvar biopsy a week ago, VIN is suspected. 
had the results from my smear test on Tuesday from my doctor and got the letter yesterday to go for a colposcopy next Wednesday.

my appointment has now been cancelled by the consultant and a new one made to see the consultant on the 27th March. 
Ive been told I won't be having anything done it's just a 1/2 hr appointment to discuss the results. 
I have to have this appointment it's the only one she has available cause then she is off on holiday. 
 

has anyone ever had this happen? 
why do I not need the appointment for the colposcopy and to just speak to someone about my results when I've already been told what the results are and that I do need treatment. 
 

" we also tested your sample for abnormal cervical cells. This showed that there are changes to the cells in your cervix. It is important that we look at these abnormal cells more closely as they will need treatment. We have requested an urgent colposcopy appointment for you ( within the next 2 weeks ) "

it just doesn't make sense and as I only spoke to the receptionist she wasn't able to give me any other Information apart from the other clinic isn't suitable to deal with me and I need to see the consultant.
