That's Great! Here's hoping that I get the same results,

I have an appointment with a cancer surgeon tomorrow fri 20th, I am not sleeping as I am dreading it!

I just hope the outcome is good, I am having a biopsy on the 30th, but I do worry with the already stretched NHS with this terrible Corona virus that is doesn't make my treatment fall behind

just want this all over now

What worrying times for you. I think they will prioritise where they can as we haven’t had the worst of the virus yet so I’d have thought they’d speed some things through where possible.  I really don’t think that they will stop wanting to heal or cure anything outside of the virus ,  I just don’t  think it works that way. However, I’d be as frightened as you. Is there a helpline you can call - I think there’s one for this page for example? Sometimes talking to someone is better. I feel for you, I really do x

Hi, hope all is well now?

I  haven't been on here for a while as I have been struggling with dealing with this all to be honest!

I had a long wait to get scans & 5 biopsies which were done on the 27th April and 2 lumps were found in my thyroid on right side and due to Covid-19 everything has been held back for cancer treatment, which really isn't good!! 

I finally had my operation on the 10th June. The first lump was found in jan/feb, which seems far to long to have to wait!! 
I am recovering well from my operation and waiting on my results of my thyroid operation where they took 1/2 of Thyroid and also middle part across windpipe, not sure what it is called.

I feel like I have been waiting for so long, and when you are so worried too!

Plus in Covid isolation due to getting letter due to my poorly lungs,  it makes it so much harder as there is nothing to take your mind off things when you can't go out

Fingers crossed the results show they have got it all and I won't need threatened 2nd operation and Radiation therapy.
