I found a lump in my right breast over Christmas and after 2 visits to the GP I got referred to the breast clinic
I was told due to my age it was unlikely I would need a biopsy. However, following an ultrasound they performed a fine needle biopsy and I just got a phone call today to say the results came back normal but they want to do a second biopsy
is this normal? Why would they want to do a second biopsy especially as they were reluctant prior to my ultrasound to do one in the first place?
