smear brought forward almost a year early

I have had a range of symtoms down there over the past  6 weeks.  And after getting told 3 times that my next smear is next year and public health are very stricct about that, after a visit to the docs and two samples I then get a call saying I am to book a smear.  I am concerned this spells out that they ve found something and are taking all my symptoms seriously now.  I have pain on the edge of my ribs and have woken up with a bad back and am worried.  I spent last night mostly in tears.  My mum has told me to be strong.  I am just reaching out for support and to see if anyone has been through similar.  I have two young kids, which is my main concern.

    Hello lil_rhi, 

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. Try not to interpret or anticipate what this might mean it's a good thing that they are being thorough in their investigations and that you will get to have that smear it doesn't mean that they have found something so try and be strong as your mum says. 

    It won't be long now until you get your results and find out what is going on. Try and keep busy in the meantime and stay well away from Dr Google while you are waiting for answers -  it won't be long now before you find out more! 

    I hope that you will hear from others who have been in a similar situation before and that they will be along soon to share their experience with you.
