Had 5 core biopsy's taken today for my abnormal fine needle biopsy. Wow the pain is just awful - it goes all the way up to my chest! How long will this last?
I had two core biopsies and the pain was with me for months, not painful enough to require pain relief but always there nagging me. The ladies on here I have conversed with all say the same. Hopefully yours will settle soon x
I am delighted to hear that your biopsies came back clear. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer and several biopsies and, like Magpiemaggie, I had pain for several months afterwards. I managed without painkillers, but it was quite persistent at times.
You mention that you have a definite hardening to your breast. If this persists, it might be worth having another word with your GP, just to be sure.
Hi there, I hope you're doing well. I wondered if you ever found out what was causing this as I'm having exactly the same symptoms. I recovered after multiple biopsies in both breasts but now one month later I have pain and firmness.
I'm going back to the doctor next week but would really appreciate any advice!

Hey, I was just scrolling through and saw your post. I had the exact same as you, 3 core biopsies but in my left breast a couple of weeks ago now. I'm not sure if it is normal but I had pain down the left/middle of my back too so it might just be an after effect of the biopsy. It went away after a few days so hopefully yours did the same x
Hi yes it must be an after effect it did go after a couple of days and was lucky the results came back as non cancerous, I hope your results come back as non cancerous to xx
