good morning all.

I had a mamogram, ultrasound and biopsy on a lump that i didn't go to get checked ( the one i went to get checked was fine). Whilst there the radiologist said i needed to have another mammogram (magnified) so  had that and then a biopsy. Then he found microcalcifications and said i needed a further biopsy (stereo) which im having on the 17th. I get my results for the recent biopsy on the 13th.

He didnt say anything about the birad scoring and wondered if it would be a score of 4? or do they even use it whils investigations are taking place. I have a letter confirming my next biopsy but all it says on the heading is, UPRIGHT STEREO MAMMOGRAM AND CORE Bx RT. Can anyone shed any light on this for me please .

    A warm welcome to our forum. It won't be too long now before you receive your receive your biopsy results and I keep everything crossed for you for your other biopsy. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more.
