I'm sorry to hear that you've been dealing with these recent concerns. I'm unsure if you have seen the nurse as the GP recommended. If you are then hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the results. But either way if you're still experiencing the symptoms you've described then it would seem sensible to make another appointment to see a Dr. If you weren't happy with the response from the GP that you saw before then you may be able to see another Dr in the practice. 

Do try to avoid Googling your symptoms. As you have already found there is lots of conflicting information available, and typically Googling symptoms will lead to a worst case scenario which will only make you more anxious. 

I hope that you're able to make another appointment and that things improve for you soon.

Hi thank you. I went for swabs with a nurse 2 days ago and she said she saw non offensive discharge high up and either a polyp or cysts on my cervix but wants a doctor to check. I'm booked in tomorrow for another examination. Very worried. Sorry if I posted in wrong place

I am just beside myself with worry! Same symptoms bleeding and pain after intercourse, I've had heavy bleeding for months so GP prescribed Noristerone - which I've had before when going away etc to stop my periods and always totally stopped it . The medication has slowed it down but not stopped it .. still heavy bleeding and stomach and back pain after sex. I'm booked in for scans in 3 weeks .. going to be the longest 3 weeks of my life

I have had the scans and nothing wrong with them but nothing changed still bleeding and all the other symptoms , I have a lot of bloating too!! Hope u get to the bottom of it
