Hi,

I had my first 10cm dermoid cyst removed when I was 17 years old. And was also told i had polycystic ovaries too. They removed 80 percent of one of my ovaries.

I continued to have a normal life with no pain and regular periods. I had a scan when I was 28 and was told everything was fine. I had another scan at 32 and was told exactly the same but I had been struggling to conceive at this point. By the 3rd scan they noticed a tiny cyst that they would check on in 5 weeks. I went back and have now been told this is a 10cm cyst that needs to be removed asap. I cant believe that dermoid cysts can grow this fast or was it missed on the scan. Has anyone had returning cysts and also has anyone conceived naturally after the cyst removal?
