Respectfully, ask your Doctor for a CT or MRI scan to be arranged to see if anthing in you body is going on?

I have been referred to a physio because apparently they are the only people who can refer for MRI or CT...which baffles me. So have to wait until the 12th of March for the physio appointment to hopefully have then refer for more scans which will be another few weeks at least if waiting.

I don't know what your gp surgery is like, but where I live the only way you can get an appointment is to make a same day appointment first thing in the morning and you don't get to choose or even know the dr you are seeing so every appointment is a different dr. Waiting time for a blood test is 3 weeks and then another week to get results. It's so frustrating because everything just takes so long and every appointment is with a dr I've never met before so I need to explain everything over and over again :(

            reading your post it sounds like she mentioned Cancer to see your reaction and if you had been worrying, as well as making you aware that she has not ignored the possibility, her subsequent actions suggest this is not likely, and has pointed towards a physical problem hence seeing a physio, who as part of their treatment might ask for a scan, Where as a doctor would refer you to consultant who would order a scan if cancer was thought to be likely.
