Can I ask your age and have you always been up to date with your smears?

I once had a problem like this years ago, cervical errosion or something, sorted itself out but I remember consultant saying they cauterise it to stop the bleeding if it doesen't stop. This was a small amount but did get on my nerves.

Thanks so much for replying im 31 and very stupid havent had a smear in 9years, im honestly going crazy thinking the worst. Like the bleeding isnt heavy its literally only on the paper when i wipe its a mix of blood and brown. I dont know how ill mange the next 2weeks waiting. How long did your bleeding last and was it also brown. Thanks and hope u are well x 

Try to keep busy for the next two weeks

O and don't google your symptoms, unless you already have. Absolutely every symptom has a cancer answer on there and then we are convinced it's going to be the worst possible outcome.

I seem to remember it being a very slight brown discharge with sometimes streaks of fresh blood.
