I went for a transvaginal scan this morning - 3 hours later I was called by my GP to say that some hard masses had been found in my right ovary and I will be urgently referred with a minimum 2 week wait.

I have called up the  hospital, and I have an appointment with a private consultant tomorrow to try and get a little more information.  My mind is racing, I havent had any symptons other than feeling slightly heavy down below.  I am 43 years old, I take HRT, I had not had a period since May, but in Jan my cycle seemed to suddenly start up again with a 'normal' period in Jan and Feb.  I have had no discharge, no pain, no loss of appetite, no weight loss etc etc.

Im terrified this is cancer and how advanced it might be.   I have also had 2 x kidney transplants so all a worry :(
