Hello this is my first time using this forum but I'm going crazy thinking about this hard lump I have and why I can't find answers.
started on Christmas 2019 I noticed a hard pea sized lump on the left side of my throat feels attached to the throat itself above the thyroid more like the laryngeal area and it's small but really hard and slightly moveable I think , I don't think it's grown at all and I don't have any other symptoms like hoarseness or a sore throat it's just a hard lump connected to my throat under the skin and directly attached to the throat and I have no clue what to think of it , I thought it's throat cancer but I'm 18 surely I'm too young for that plus I don't smoke and no close relatives have had it , what could it be? Thanks sorry Im really anxious and have spoke to my gp about it before but they shove it off and don't really think much of it even know I know they haven't had a good feel of it they just check my lymph nodes and not where you specifically say but anyway any help?
thanks
