Worried about ENT appointment

Hi,

im terrified I have throat cancer. I've had tonsillitis since November! Three lots of antibiotics and it won't clear. For the last 6 weeks I've had no pain in my throat but all the symptoms of tonsillitis, as in white spots, red throat and even what looks like blisters all down my throat and I've never had that. I've had throat swabs and there's no sign of any bacteria. 
mom in no pain at all.

GP has referred me for an urgent ENT appointment next Thursday.

Has anyone else had similar symptoms?

    I've had a sore throat since around November, I was referred for an urgent Endoscopy where they found a lump in my throat. Then urgent ENT appointment where I was shown a picture of the lump which is at the base of my tongue. I had a CT scan yesterday and I'm having a biopsy tomorrow, terrified also and I believe it can be two weeks for the results.

    Thanks for your reply. I hope the biopsy went well today and you're not feeling too rough. Please keep me updated.

    I haven't had a sore throat at all, had tonsillitis 3 times since November, antibiotics cleared it all three times, but a few days after finishing the course, the spots would all come back. I now have what looks like blisters in my throat, but still no pain. Tonsils are still all covered in spots too. I had a test done by my GP that detects levels of bacteria, and that was all normal so that's why they've referred me for an urgent ENT appointment.

    I have a really dry throat, but that's about it. 

    Absolutly terrified.
