Hi about a year ago I noticed a reddening on the left breast just under my nipple. A irregular shape and really light covers about 5cm. 3 weeks ago I eventually went to the doctors, she did a breast examination and said could be dermatitis or something similar so gave me steroid cream and if it didn't clear to go back. Steroid cream did nothing. I went back and a different doctor did a breast exam and again said she was not concerned it was anything like cancer but did me and urgent referral to the hospital breast clinic (I'm due to go this Wednesday). I have also noticed some new freckle like marks on my breast these are a light brown colour and I have about 5-6 of them. I know my doctor said it's nothing to worry about hopefully but I can't stop feeling like it's something serious. I am 25 years old and very nervous. I have read about inflammatory breast cancer and my symptoms most fit to this although I have no swelling. What else could it be, should I be concerned?
