New lump.found that feels different

Hi all , I'm sitting here worrying myself silly and thought why not post to see if anyone else has had an experience like mine . I confess I've not checked my boobs for ages. Which in itself is awful. Anyway a few days ago I finally got around to it and I found a hardish lump.that doesn't seem to move. I've  had lumps and bumps in both boobs for ever and have been to.the hospital to have a few checks over the years and its always  come up fine.  But this feels different.  I also have a few new smaller movable ones in the same breast as well. Also  I think I may have a small lump.near my armpit but have the same on the other side. And I have to really look for it to find it. I've booked up to my my GP but cant get an appointment till 9th Match . But am.going to call again tomorrow and get a quicker appointment with any GP.

I'm absolutely terrified  if it's something bad as I have so.many people that need me. 

Has anyone had an  experience like mine that turned out to be fine ?

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a new lump in your breast. I hope that you were able to call the Dr's and get an appointment sooner than the 9th of March. If you haven't called them yet then do give them a ring and explain. 

    It's important to remember that the majority of women who have breast lumps aren't diagnosed with cancer. It sounds from your post that you've been really sensible in the past getting lumps and bumps checked out and hopefully this will also be nothing to worry about either.

    I have had fibroadenomas in the past and have lumps and bumps and everything has always been fine but I have a new one that "feels different" It's been 8 weeks since I first found it to the time I waited to see if it went down to the 4 week wait to see a GP then the 2 week urgent referral and yesterday I was told this lump looks cancerous on a mammogram and on a ultrasound but all the biopsies came back "normal breast tissue" but they repeated the biopsies yesterday so convinced are they it is early cancer. No swelling in my lymph nodes, I don't feel ill but my different lump is 3cm x 2cm. 

    Just so you know I am certain it isn't cancer in me but I have waited 8 weeks so if it turns out it is - why have I waited so long? Hope you got into the GP, couple of weeks on from you so hope you get some reassurance xx
