Had my PSA done in early January and it was 7 - redone at start of February and it is 11.2. My iron levels are low . Urologist is sending me for a MRI scan before he sees me. Should I be worried about potentially having prostrate cancer.
Hi i was diagnosed with a PSA of 6.2 so not very high, but after biopsy and MRI scan i had prostate cancer
Not high risk but still cancer. I had three options of choice, do nothing and monitor or surgery last but not least i went for radiotherapy. I start next week actually. But bear in mind that most men have prostate cancer some live with it some take action. But what ever you do think about it first as i did. But my wife and two sons helped me decide. Hope this helps i am 69 years so still got plenty of life in me as i am sure you have good luck.
Hiya, how did you get on. My husband (52) had a PSA of 18 too and had MRI last week, we should find out this week. Freaking out with worry. No symptoms at all but I know that is common.
