I had a gastroscopy and among the things that they found was a 5mm ??? in my ampulla in D2.I have read cancer here is hard to treat. ., but no biopsy was taken and it has been referred back to the consultant. I am really worried.
Hello Wendy I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some health concerns which have needed investigation. I'm afriad that I don't know why a biopsy wasn't taken during your recent gastroscopy but I'm sure that the Consultant will be able to answer all your questions. I do hope that you don't have to wait too long for your appointment but if you have concerns then get in touch with your GP.
Thank you for your help. I have to phone for my hypolori test Tuesday so I will try to speak to the doctor if possible or make an appointment. I am an anxious person at the best of times and this doesn't help. I sometimes think there is to much information about on the internet.I would have rather been told that the images are going to the consultant to get reviewed.
