Yes, still go to the appointment. Sometimes moles regrow if they've fallen off when scratched so the specialist will still examine the area, even if there's nothing visible. If you have any photos of the mole, either from when it started to look dodgy or even when it was OK, take them along with you so the consultant can look at them. It's not unusual for moles to regress and disappear but because it had changed in several ways you still need to see the consultant. Good luck and please let us know how you get on,
