Hi. I have had a sore throat and lump in throat feeling for a few weeks. I had a nasoendoscopy today and the consultant said he saw something in my throat above the voice box and has said I need an MRI and panandoscopy. I asked whether it could be cancer or something else but he said the biopsy would give the answer. He mentioned it could be something (possibly lymph ? I'm not sure what he said and google doesn't help :( ) in throat that hasn't healed after an infection. I had a bad cold in Nov. He also said I have bad acid reflux (even on omeprazole). Can anyone guide me on what it could be and the likelihood of being cancer. I am so worried.
