Hi All,
I'm looking for some support on a recent trip to the Drs.
About 3 weeks ago I noticed wilst in the shower that my left breat dips in, it's really hard to explain but if you were to feel my left breast there is a definate dip above the nipple as though it's almost caved in, if that makes sense? It's not visible to the eye though only when touched. I have also noticed that my left breast has shrunk, it looks a lot smaller than my right one. I know breasts are usually different sizes, but I've never noticed such a difference.
Anyway, I went to see the GP a couple of days ago and he has referred me to the Breast Clinic. He looked quite confused when I first went in to the room as I was trying to explain what it was I could feel. But, when he then examined me, he said he knew exactly what I meant as he could feel where it dips in quite noticably. He also got advise from another GP who said I need to be seen at the Breast Clinic.
I suppose we always check for lumps and bumps, but this is quite literally the opposite to a lump.
Has anybody ever heard of anything like this before?
Thank you :-) xx
