Welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear your symptoms, but I'm glad that you are waiting for a referral to the breast clinic. Breast cancer can manifest in different ways:-

Some people find a lump

Others have a nipple seeping with fluid or blood

The skin on some breasts becomes like orange peel in appearance

Redness or a rash can appear

The nipple can be pulled in or looks different

A change in size or shape of a breast

Pain in the breast

A swelling under the armpits.

All of the above can be a sign of cancer, but they can indicate other conditions too. There are many different types of breast cancer too. The breast clinic is there to rule out breast cancer as well as to diagnose it. Only 1 person in every 8 referred will have a positive reading. The rest are non malignant.

You should be seen at the breast clinic within 2 weeks. You are doing the right thing to get it investigated and, I hope that your tests don't show up anything untoward.

I don't know if it's the same as what you describe but my boobs caved in. They started like dimples and then caved inwards quite dramatically like something was pulling the skin down. I had two of these and turned out I had a tumour behind both of them. I am going through chemo right now but my boob is still caved in.

I am triple positive but I have a few different cancers going on in my boob. It's multi focal cancer and there is 3 tumours one being a cluster tumour and large area of calcifications

I think I'm confused as there are no dimples on my boob at all. I only noticed it whilst I was in the shower and the Dr could only feel it when he pressed where I told him I felt like it had caved in. But to look at, to the naked eye, it looks completely normal. It's more under the surface that it feels as though it's caved in.
