Hi everyone,
Luckily i've never had to post on one of these forums before untill now..
I've been having itchy skin for a few years now all over, not everyday but a lot of the time. I do have eczema but it usually flares up in summer/hotter weather so i've put it down to that. About a year ago I had heartburn everyday/night and was given Lansoprazole which helped, but I lost about a stone in weight (I was only a few pounds overweight before) and the heartburn went completely. Just after Christmas this year I noticed when I ate I occasionally had the feeling of a lump in my throat, like food was sticking in it, and drinking water didn't help wash it down. It isn't every time I eat and I can go a few days without feeling it at all, it seams to be things like chocolate that make it worse.
A few weeks ago I noticed a hard lump just behind my right collarbone. It doesn't hurt to press but it hasn't gone down either.
I went to the doctors who referred me for a blood test and chest xray (which i've had done, not had the results back yet) and he's referring me to the hospital for a biopsy (i havent had the appointment through yet).
I haven't been ill in years, not even a cold, I have never smoked, hardly drink and none of my family have ever had cancer. I'm at 26 year old female.
I guess i'm writing on here because i'm panicking because all my symptoms i've got point to lymphoma, which is what the doctors is checking for, and i'm 99% sure that will be the diagnosis. :(
Has anyone else had a lump on their collarbone that turned out to be something not cancer?
Sorry for the long post, it helps to write it down!
