Ultrasound scan and ca125 test

Hi everyone 

I had a transvaginal ultrasound scan 3rd feb they found a polyp and 2 cysts growing in each other 

Got called into the doctors monday just gone they wernt happy with the 2 cysts growing on each other and she got me to do a full blood count and a ca125 

I have been told I can get my results in 2-3 days so I'm ringing tomorrow to find out my results 

 

The reason I had the ultrasound scan was suspected ibs symptoms of bloating stomach pains diarrhoea for 3 weeks bleeding between periods periods when I shouldn't have them (I'm on the mini pill not had a period since 2016 but started with a period november and december nothing jan and nothing feb) I'm now changing bowel habits between normal diarrhoea and constipated so they suspected ibs so to go from.that to this I'm in shock I'm only 33 

Cant wait to ring tomorrow 2pm to get my results anyone else going through this and can offer advice or been diagnosed or would like a buddy to keep you company

    Did you manage to speak to your GP yesterday about your results? I hope that they were able to offer some reassurance about what the next steps may be.

    Hi yes they was normal ca125 of 7

    Not sure what the next step is as these cyst they arent happy with

    I'm glad you had some positive news regarding the CA125 result. Presumably the GP will refer you for a specialist opinion if they are unhappy about the cysts. 

    I hope that you won't have to wait too long.

    I went back to the doctors yesterday to see what was happening and to let them know my symptoms are still there and getting worse I'm bleeding again after stopping bleeding a week ago 

    Doctor said that the gynecologist and ultrasound etc are having a meeting about me then I'll get a letter with an appointment if I've not heard anything within 2 weeks I'm to contact the doctors so they can chase it up

    What is this meeting and what will they be discussing about me will it be what they think it might be and the next steps they are going to take

    any answers advice or previous experience would be greatly appreciated 

     

    I also found out the cyst arent stuck and growing together they are growing inside of one another
