Having 1day heavy clotty periods & pain in pelvis every day

Hello everyone,

Can anyone relate to this.... had my tubes clipped 18 months ago, periods always been irrregular up untill 6 months ago then they were dead on every 28 days for 5 days now for last 3 months I've been bleeding after sex and spotting inbetween and now i only have one day period it's really clotty and sorry for this but if i use a tampon the clots seem to slide down im always tired and have got no get up and go, also get ache dull pain in my pelvis like a period pain every day, went to docs she said cervix looks ok took swabs and waiting for scan..,. So worried

    Hello Mom2to4four, 

    I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your scan. I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more.

    I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

    Keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

    Thank you so much for your reply, and I'm hoping its just cysts because my mother suffered with cysts and ife followed her so far both gall baldderless xxx
