Hello there, 

I have my appointment at breast clinic this week too( tomorrow). I found a large lump in my breast just before Christmas. Went to doctor and she said it's around 6cm. Hopeful it's a cyst but getting anxious now and reading too much on internet so cant sleep. Hubby is snoring like a trouper! I'm more worried about my kids as it's already messing them up as they fade up go to breakfast club in school in the morning so I can go to my appointment (they usually don't do this, so worried that they enjoy like that, they are 3 and 4. My eldest is 12).

Aww i know the feeling ! Google is marvelous if your researching for uni but not for things like this lol.

all the luck in the world for tomorrow do come back and let me know how it went and a heads up on what to expect. 
the kiddos will love breakfast club they probably ask to go every day after tomorrow!

You were right, the kids loved breakfast club! I saw a junior doctor and then the consultant who recommended a scan. Said they wouldn't do a mammogram as I'm under 40.

Had a scan and they said it's not a cyst but could be just fibrous tissue. They took 3 biopsies to check and I have to go back on Monday afternoon for the results. Biopsies didn't hurt just a sharp scratch from the anaesthetic and then a strange sensation.

Finally sat down after a hectic but goid day.

i have lipoma? Non cancerous fatty lump and nothing to worry about. 
no biopsy needed just had mammogram and ultrasound x2 xx
