Hi I've had an urgent referral from the doctors they've said il be seen within 2 weeks just wondering how long it takes to get the appointment through the post? I've rang and they've said it's still with the consultant. X
Honestly it's just such a stressful time right now!! I really am trying to stay positive, today has been a better day for me but most days I feel awful to the point I just don't want to get out of bed. I have had a stool sample analysed but that was just to check the cultures, so looking for any inflammation and/or infection, but mine came back normal. The stool sample test that you need for suspected bowel cancer would be the fit test where they check for any blood.
Thank you for your message. You're totally right, I do need to chill out and just try and remain positive. It's really hard to do so without a diagnosis but I am trying. I do have good days but mostly bad days. I'm hoping to get a diagnosis soon though just so I can know what I am truly dealing with.
