ill be thinking of you on Thursday. Mine is on 19/03 - lump and removal of all lymph nodes on that same side...like yourself I am due for chemo and radio afterwards, although I'm very much taking this one step at a time...easier to manage in small chunks of about 4 weeks at a time...
Hi Op went ok, had a bit of trouble to begin with as they had to put a guide wire into the cancer first so the surgeon could see exactly where he was going. That was very painful as the Dr who did it didn’t numb me enough and had to get another Dr to carry it out. Didn’t go down for op until 1:30. And was in recovery by 2:30. Been in a lot of pain this morning, so dr has prescribed me oramorph to help. Hope your doing well
I had to have Oramorph for the first 2 days, but things settled down quite quickly after that. I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty with your guide wire. You seem to have got through your surgery quite quickly, which is good. I hope that the pathology results are good. Did they tell you when you'll get them back?
