So I went to the doctors because I thought that the glands on my right side of my neck had been swollen for more than 3 months straight with no infection. The doctor said that she couldn't feel any swelling of the glands there but for me the difference between the left and right sides feels really obvious. Despite this she ordered a blood test and an ultrasound in a months time "to stop me worrying".
Anyway the blood test has come back fine except for a minor abnormality on the white blood count(no action needed), but now I'm more worried as I've seen people say that they do this to rule out other cancers and hodgkin's normally comes back negative anyway.
I'm starting to feel like the doctor lied about the swelling to stop me from worrying as I know my body and the swelling is quite obvious. Should I still be concerned about this or am I just being immature?
