Sometimes scans become available quickly, as they've had no information from your GP as you just had an internal then they can't have done it quickly for any other reason than that date is available.  Good luck,  Carol

it was just that I said to the lady how quickly it was she said doc wants it done I was on the two weeks referral as ime over 55 and it's going to be done on Sunday now 

I guess half of it is that it's all

by email and things now so waiting for letters is a thing of the past she said we will send a letter out but you can't help that little person in your head worrying the life out of you I've been here before and everything was ok but panic takes over doesn't it

These two week referrals are causing people to panic, but it's standard NHS procedure to get you in for things like, rectal bleeding, vaginal problems and age related symptoms.  So don't panic.  Let us know how you get on.  Carol

I agree with Carol that it can cause you to panic, your Dr could've explained the system a bit better and it may have put your mind at rest. 
 

I visited the breast clinic in 2016 which was a two week wait & I also have an appointment tomorrow which was the same procedure of waiting two weeks, they may have had a cancellation or added extra clinics so at least you'll be seen sooner rather than later & your mind will be at ease. i used to be so positive now I panic once your over 55. You get sent to hospital for everything to do with female bits I've been to the breast clinic too a few times over the years thankfully it's always been ok it doesn't help when nearly all  your friends 5 of them

have all been diagnosed with one cancer or another it's the first thing you think of still positive thoughts and I'll let you know how I get on
