Hiya, I received the same letter. I cried my heart out worried but when I went to the colposcopy I felt finally I met get some answers. The colposcopy was just like having a smear test really but they look closer at your cervix. They decide then if they need to take a biopsy or not. Luckily I didn't have one and just had to come back in a year for another smear test. I had my smear test done on the 11th November and still waiting for my results. I never used to suffer from anxiety until a year ago and all I have done over Christmas and new year is worry and cry about my results. It's so hard to stay positive when we don't know what's going on but we have to. I have a young daughter so I know I need to stay positive for her. It's nice Iv wrote this out to you because Only my best friend knows about this. Iv kept it a massive secret because I don't want people to worry and make a fuss when no one knows answers yet! We're all in this together sister <3 good luck at your colposcopy.
