6 weeks ago I had barium meal and ct colonography  as GP concerned abou my low iron levels. I am 63 with rheumatoid arthritis so low iron is common for me

anyway I had the tests at my local hospital wolverhampton  and heard nothing then yesterday I got a letter saying I had a 9am applintment with a GI consultant surgery cllinic  in birmingham in a weeks time

worrying that its  not where  I had the tests and also would they wait 6 weeks if it was serious ?

i am worried sick and cant sleep

    To be honest I'm not sure why it would be at a different hospital - maybe it is simply that there is more availability there.

    It's easier said than done but try not to worry - there's nothing to be done while waiting for the appointment so try to keep yourself busy and distracted, and you'll be able to find out more soon.
