Hi i found a lump in my left breast 3 weeks ago i see the consultant today who put me at ease felt it and said its a swollen milk duct. Has anyone had this before he didnt scan etc just said its that said im fine and off i went. Obviously im happy of this outcome just now im panicing his wrong. X

    Well I recon he's probly right ... I had mastitis after baby 2 ... lumps even going down my arm ..  so boobs do get lumpy if they've had milk lately ... but keep an eye on it .. try not to prod I'd hard as that may irritate it .. but gently touching and if it doesn't go , or gets any bigger .. I'd get an appointment with a lady Dr... all lumps should be looked at .. but remember 8.5 out of ten lumps are benign.... so be cautious but don't panic ... in my opinion ...  Chrissie x

    Thank you for replying this was the breast clinic consultant so i should trust what he said but i have anxiety and worry!. Going to keep a close eye on it and any changes back to my gp. X
