Hello Louise2403, 

I can understand why you are feeling worried after the nurse told you this and you really didn't expect it.  It might be worth getting in touch with your GP and asking whether this is the standard procedure and that it got you worried when she told you this. 

I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much while you are waiting for these important biopsy results. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

I hope you will also hear from others here who have had a Lletz before and that they will be along soon to share their experience with you. To make it easier for others to identify the subject of your post, I've added 'biopsy taken during Lletz' to the title of your post
