I would say you would be ok with the sedation offered.I had gastroscopy last year without sedation and it was not pleasent.Im booked in for a endoscopy ultrasound on monday so if yours is after that date i will let you know what it was like with the sedation.

Its not too bad with sedation i had biopsies taken yesterday and you are aware of what they doing but it wasnt too bad.Just do what they tell you and try to ignore what they doing......Seriously its not too bad a procedure.

Hi thank you for letting me know how it was. How are you feeling? Hope u are ok. I'm in two minds as to whether I can go through with it 

However much you worrying go and get it done...Seriously its not too bad.Once you been sedated just close your eyes and ignore what they doing before you know it it is over.I gurantee you will agree once you had it done.I put mine off for 7months but wish i hadnt as it wasnt as bad as i expected

No gagging or choking as you are in a relaxed state...go and get it over and done with if you can.

Seriously you should have gone and got it over and done with.I cancelled mine in june last year and after going on monday i wish i had gone in june.If i need another endoscopy so long as i get sedated i will happily have it done.Without sedation maybe not.
