Breast clinic

Hi I'm new to this chat forum and really hoping u ladies can help me!!

So for the past 12 weeks I've been suffering mild pain in my left breast which also feels heavier than my right breast....so i went to see my gp and I'm at the hospital tomorrow for a mammogram.

My doctor says she can feel a pea like lump near my areola and then one under my arm, near my lympnode.....I'm really worried as I had a full hysterectomy 4 years ago and only 36 on the early menopause....

What do u think the lumps could b as I myself can't seem to feel them but yet my doctor can....

  • Hi I hope it goes well at the breast clinic for you tomorrow. I was there in November after I found a lump they believe it is benign but did a biopsy 2 weeks ago to double check. I am waiting  for biopsy results. Will need to phone on Thursday if I don't hear anything tomorrow. Thinking if you. The nurses and doctors were fantastic when I went there.

  • Hi....oh no really hope ur results come back ok.....what's worrying me is that I can't feel the lumps but my doctor can!! One lump is under my arm and the other is near my areola but yet I can't feel the.....I honestly don't think there's anything to worry about.....how long were u at the hospital for hun?

  • I went to my GP feeling one lump that was just hormonal and the GP found another lump which is the one that is being checked. Its quite deep so that why I missed it doing self examinations. I can get quite lumpy breasts before my periods. I was a one stop clinic. Had mammogram, ultrasound and fine needle aspiration in one day. I was there a few hours. The core needle biopsy was done on a separate day. Just a local anaesthetic it took less than an hour. The waiting for the results is the worse bit. Will be glad when I get the results back. Thinking of you
