My husband has the same. He had an ultrasound last week and they said the lump was attached to the bone and had now sent him for an MRI, which is in 2 weeks. This lump he's had for 8 weeks, and it's growing. Hope you get answers soon. 

I have a few lumps on my shins the doctor has now sent a referral for a scan so I'm hoping to get this through soon. Wishing you good news with yours.
