Hi, I'm sure they're being ultra cautious. If they need a second opinion them chances are, IF there is anything to worry about, they must have caught it very early as they're not even sure. The scan will help them rule out cancer, or identify it, if it's there. You need to know asap for your own piece of mind. Obviously you're worried and I do really feel for you. The waiting is horrible isn't it? I've been waiting since October to find out what's wrong with me. I see a consultant on the 23rd January after having all kinds of things including a small op, whilst x-raying me for a lump in my neck they've found a shadow on my lungs. I'm a non smoker so hoping it's ok but these days who knows!! Take care and let me know how you get on. You're in my prayers x

Thank you for the reply, I've got my CT scan tomorrow an I can't stop thinking about it this is all happened So quickly I'm trying to be positive but I keep going from positive to negative in the space of a few minutes, I hope you are not waiting much longer for your results an everything is ok I'm thoughts are also with you ️

Thank you ️ I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. I had 2 scans two weeks ago. They sent me for a CT scan of my chest and my abdomen (no idea why the abdomen). In the middle of the night I'm convinced they think I have cancer and they're checking it hasn't spread to my abdomen. Then I jump to thinking they're just being cautious. I haven't any results back yet, I'm assuming I'll get them when I see the lung specialist. Anyway, please let me know how you get on. Will be thinking about you tomorrow ️
