About two months or so ago I shut the car boot on my left breast (yes it hurt like hell). I kept an eye on it and the bruising went down after a couple of weeks and then a large lump appeared to the right of the injury. I assumed it was a bruise but went to get checked just in case, 2 days before Christmas.
I was referred immediately to the breast clinic at the hospital and had my appointment on 6 January. They were very thorough and actually found a large lump in my right breast. After being sent for an ultrasound they confirmed my left breast was a 5cm bruise but couldn't confirm what the second mass was, its 10cm and they performed a biopsy.
I was told I'd either get the results in the post or an appointment to discuss them if needed. Since my biopsy I've had a lot more pain than usual in my right breast but it's likely I'm more aware of it now but I'm worried my results are bad news if I have been called back in.
