Im probably not the best person to respond but here goes.

I've been on a 2 week wait protacal 3 times to rule out cancer over the last 12months and so far it has been ruled out which is great. 

First time was i was struggling to swallow to the point food would get stuck and i would cough a lot...no other symptoms really. From there just under two weeks i had a gastroscopy to look down throat and into stomach which found a hiatus hernia and pretty severe gastritis/reflux. So no cancer yay. 

Second time i was feeling exhausted, fevers, night sweats, weird rashes and some of my blood results were high like ESR, CRP whcih are markers of inflmmation/infection ect. Got seen by heamatology within two weeks. Had more bloods and a CT scan to look for haematological conditions swollen lymph nodes ect had a review 6 weeks later and results were fine so got discharged and told no cancer that they can see. 

Leading on from the second time same symptoms and found a lump under my armpit at the start of december went to the drs in new year and sent to the brest clinic again within two weeks who ruled that the lump was probably an ingrown hair or cyst or something but nothing to worry about. 

Not had a biopsy at this time as it was felt it hasnt been needed.

At the moment nothing points to cancer but symptoms still remain though i am greatful that no cancer :)
