Sorry to hear that you've recently needed to have some investigations at the hospital. It's understandable to feel a little worried about results. 
The way in which results are given seems to vary from area to area with some patients being given results face to face and some via phone or letter. This seems to be the case regardless of if the news is positive or not so positive. 

Try not to read too much into the fact that you've been asked to attend again in a few weeks.
