6yr old

Hi there,

So we are currently going through a pretty rough time, my 6 year old has been pretty poorly for a few months now, generally unwell, very pale, tired, lack of appetite, she scratches her skin til she bleeds and then we found a kidney bean size lump in her armpit just before Christmas. Our gp arranged for some bloods, we were contacted with 36hours saying her platelet count was very high and she will be needing urgent tests and I need to be aware it's very serious and the paediatrician mentioned lymphoma. my head is completely all over the place but my question is...although she is generally unwell at the moment, she can have a day where she has more energy, colour in her cheeks and wants to run around and play with her sister. surely if it was as serious as this she wouldnt have days like this?
