  • Hi,

I have been  having this too. I went to Dr on Tues and he's booked me in for a smear, blood tests, ultrasound and appt with gynecologist. Not had any tests or results to tell you about yet. He hasn't heard of this before. Have you been to Dr yet?

  • Hi D1straction, I have been having the same problem now for a while. Are you any further on with your tests/results?

    Thanks

  • Hi,

I had a colposcopy, a smear, blood tests, scan and spoke to gynecologist. All came back fine. The gynecologist suggested having a mirena coil fitted as she thinks hormonal. The colposcopy also showed i have some erosion which could possibly explain it. Make an appointment. Really put my mind at rest having all the tests.

All the best. Hope everything is ok.

  • Hi my name idms Jane I've just read your post did you have the results in worrying as going through the same thing

  • All results came back clear. It still happens now but less than before. I'd definitely say go for tests but it might just be hormonal like mine appears to be. I just added an extra comment that doesn't appear to be showing now so sorry if it appears twice now, but I also should have mentioned that my bleeding only happens in the week before my period is due. It doesn't happen at any other point.

  • Hi D1straction. I have had this for about a year now. Had pelvic ultrasound 2 week ago and came back normal. I had CIN 3 pre cancerous cells and cells removed in February 2020. Mines been happening since then. Also the day after intercourse I get pinky discharge. My follow up smear from cell removal showed still hpv positive but no cell change so been put back to 3 year smears. I had my cervix cauterised 3 weeks ago as they said i had a small ectropion and it could have been down to that but it's still happening. The Dr's also mention about that it could be hormonal but they don't seem to be quite sure what's causing it. Still not sure to what exactly is causing it and its Very frustrating. Did they suggest any other tests that could be done or have they just put yours down to being hormonal now?

  • Hi, I realise the original post was some time ago, I had this... I turned out to have polyps on my cervix which after removal stopped the issue.

  • Hiya. This is happening to me. They did the same eith merena. I am bleeding so so much every day 4 loathsome later. How has urs turned out now please x

  • Welcome to the forum Kmc84 although I'm sorry for the reason you've joined us.

I noticed you were hoping to hear back from D1straction. Unfortunately they haven't been on the forum since January last year so there is a chance you may not get to find out what happened.

I hope that isn't the case but if D1straction doesn't get back to you then do feel free to start your own discussion or join in on other, more recent discussions about this as the chances of getting a response will be higher.

    All the best,
