Hi, not sure if my experience will help but I had symptoms for long time, nearly 6 years really, constant bleeding and spotting, bloating, and eventually looked like I was pregnant. I put it all down to menopause, I was early 40's. 13 wks ago I had a, full abdominal hysterectomy. After checks, a raised level in ca125, a scan to check for pregnancy and a ct scan I was told that I had a borderline cyst in abdomen area. I was told to prepare myself as likely it could be a cancerous tumour. I had the op, everything removed and a large 45cm cyst. 3wks later results came back all clear, was lowest grade possible of pre cancerous cyst on ovary, no treatment needed. So I am telling you this in the hope that you can see it may not necessarily mean cancer. I know I have been extremely lucky and got sorted very quickly, although I should have seen Dr straight away when it all started 6 years ago. But I am fine and just recovering from hysterectomy now.
