Fingers crossed that everything comes back clear. I noticed a dent in my breast and felt a lump over Xmas, I saw the GP yesterday who found it as well and I'm awaiting an appointment to come through for the hospital for some tests. Finding it difficult to concentrate on work right now, I know the majority are found to be ok, but can't help thinking about what I'll do if its not.

Hi! I too am waiting for an appointment for the breast clinic. Large lump in left breast and pain also got a very achy arm. I feel well other than that. I'm only 24 and got a little boy. I hope your appointment goes well and please keep us updated. Remember it's not cancer till they have told you it is!!! I've read loads about painful breast lumps being cysts and I hope this is the case!!! Xxx 

Thanks for replying I have been able to think of nothing else. My emotions are all over the place and I feel sick with fear of the outcome od my biopsy results tomorrow. I can't help but thinking worse case scenario, however the posts on here from women living with BC are inspiring and it is not unusual for us to be feeling the way we do at this time.  I don't know how I am going to sleep tonight dreading tomorrow. 

The good thing is the GP and hospital move relatively quicklly. I had my first appointment with the GP on ? When I noticed changes to my breast a hard mass to an appointment at the breast clinoc within 10 days, the longest wait is for my biopsy results and that's because of the Xmas hols. I have read so much on BC I thought I was going to loose my mind. No more everyone journey from diagnosis to recovery is different, and it's not cancer until it has been confirmed.

Good luck for today Lupita, I hope it's all clear for you. The GP sent the referral off whilst I was there so hopefully the hospital will be quick as well. I actually had a lump removed when I was 25 and that was benign and I remember thinking I'd got an appointment at the hospital quite quickly, so hopefully I will again.

Hi Lell, I had a benign lump removed when I was 25, that one ached a little, it is scary though when you don't know and especially when you have small children to think about. As you say it's not anything bad until you've been told, I hope you get your tests and results done quickly too.

Hi lupita I hope you get good news today. I got my core needle biopsy done this morning will get results within 2 weeks. The waiting is the worse bit. Thinking of you let us know how you get on.take care Lesley

My legs have been aching on and off and my left arm now worried if it bc (it is a very big lump) has it spread. Silly to worry but you just cant help it. Be glad to have some answers tomorrow. Xx
