I had a clear chest x ray in September. but I'm still coughing with shortness of breath. the skin is peeling off my hands and chest pains keep coming and going. The quack says copd but I keep thinking the worst!
I can understand being worried. Most of the time a chest xray can dectet changes such as lung cancer/abcesses and other diseases affecting the lungs. You do have the right to get another opinion if you are worried. Maybe ask to see a lung/chest clinic team who can do and asthma or copd breathing test but most of the time the breathing tests can be done at the doctors surgery.
