Swollen lymph nodes in groin

Hi

 

I have had swollen lymph nodes in the right side of the groin for the few months. Went to the docs and once the bloods came fine,  she said not to worry. So I left it.  A few months later they are here. So back to the docs and have had blood test which has come back fine. Have also been sent for an ultrasound. Just waiting for a date.  I don't really have any other symptoms, the lumps are movable and haven't really changed in size. Has anyone else had swollen lymph nodes?  Google isn't really helpful and I'm trying to avoid it.

    I hope you are well, I know this was a while ago but did you find that the lymph nodes ache as I have had swollen nodes for months not that moveable and I'm freaking out

    Hello there I had a swelling in the groin plus weight loss. After blood test NHL was diagnosed. Had nearly two years of chemo,and getting on much better and will soon be finished my maintenance programme.

    Hi there, Thank you for all your messages/ I’ve just joined this community after reading about lymph node issues as I’m going through it also. I found a small lump on right groin in May- made an immediate appt to be told it’s a lipoma (fatty tissue) I requested a scan, she said 6-8 weeks and nothing came so I made a second appt with Gp, I got the same again. I asked for an escalated scan which happened on Friday. It showed a swollen lymph node so my go rang me immediately for chat and said they had to test for all sorts incl C. I’m glad I pushed for the scans. I now retired a blood sample (more extensive search now as other bloods came back with reg white blood cells): a stool sample to check for cancerous cells (no fever or blood in stools - just v swollen tum as have. Crohn’s disease).. a biopsy and further scan. I’m trying not to panic but lymph hard and 3.9cms. Any advice please?
