Hi guys I'm hoping maybe someone can give me some advice, I am in no way saying I have a bad lump but any lump should be checked surely??

I went to the doctor as I found a lump in my armpit a few month ago I thought it was a spot so left it thinking it would surface and its hasn't and I cant be certain but I think it may of got wider. Well the doctor told me she couldn't feel anything but my skin (no idea what she meant with that and just kept repeating it when I questioned) I can feel the lump and so can my sister and partner so really what I'm wondering is if anyone thinks I should get a second opinion or if it actually doesnt look like a lump it doesnt hurt and it's not solid if that helps at all, I have history of cancer in my family and a history of breast cancer so I check myself regular so to find this it was a bit of a worry and frankly still is
