To be honest i didnt think i had ibs as i have pain all the time and ive had weird blood results that are out of range. It could still be a different presentation of the confidtions i mentioned though i know its hard to think otherwise when you are so worried. I have a family history of bowel cancer so i was freaking out with the same symptoms as you but all my tests were clear. Blood im stools and weightloss can be symptoms of inflmmatory bowel disease as it could be collitis or chrons which can cause blood, pain, weight loss ect depending on the severity of the condition. Have you spoken to your doctor about your symptoms ??

There is a blood test you can ask for, it's a bowel tumor marker. It is called a CEA blood test.

It is not 100% though as some people (like me) don't secrete it. Even when I had my cancer, mine was never raised.

yes i have and have sent a stool sample off and also getting blood test on the 7th, i have been feeling off and not myself for about a year now with countelss appointments thinking its just anxiety etc and my mind is thinking "what if all this time its cancer"? and its too late :( i hate health anxiety and i so desperately hope its nothing serious but cant stop thinking about it.

Dad had his Dr's appointment. All ok, polps removed weren't cancerous.

He's had no bleeding since colonoscopy/polyp removal so Dr thinks the polyps were bleeding as that is the only explanation for the blood.

When we are scared about cancer, every day is hell anxiety wise. Make sure they do all the tests including a CT and colonoscopy. If nothing nasty shows on those two at least you know it's not bowel cancer and you won't feel sick every day with worry.

These tests found mine both times.

Great news for your dad I am now getting increasingly worried tho as I believe a lymph node on the left side of my neck has raised it is about the size of a pea and is red and tender to the touch :( when I go in for my blood test tomorrow at dr’s I am going to get them to look at it, also been having trouble sleeping lately as well 

Yes get them to look at it but it could be coincidence it could be from infection, maybe a cold or sore throat. When I was on holiday this year, on day one when putting on suncream I noticed a lump on my neck the size of a grape, it lasted 8 days then went down quickly. I had had a slight cold a week before.

I'm not surprised that you're not sleeping well at the moment with all this on your mind. Hopefully when you get the test results back you will sleep better.

even more terrifying stuff now :( just weighed myself for the first time today as i work nights from home and sometimes work more than i should and get up late, i was 14stone 7 a few days ago then i was 14stone 5 and today i am 14stone 3 :( i am not one to easily lose weight literally just under 2 months ago i was 15stone exactly, i havent been trying to lose weight at all, its not good but i do have a somewhat bad diet so i should not be losing this much weight so fast i also drink a lot of water so it cant be water weight coming off from me, wehn i saw my weight today i thought "no that cant be right" so i moved the scales replaced batteries etc and still the same number :( im not one to demand anything as i have anxiety and find it hard to speak up but when i next see doc i am going to try my hardest to get some sort of scan done to look at me, ideally a CT scan as this is just too much to deal with now :( 

Worry can cause weight loss.

Make sure you write a list so you don't forget anything when you see your Gp.
